Josh got his first new belt in Gojo-ryu Karate-do. He's been working hard learning some basic Japanese and dojo ettiquette and finally saw the rewards of his effort. The Japanese lettering is his name, in Japanese, written on his gi by Sensei Teruo Chinen - who is Josh's Sensei's Sensei (say that three times fast). He was such a proud little man!!

Baby Baptism

Event photography is something I'm only starting to enjoy - I'm more a lifestyle photographer.. but when my best friend's baby was baptized this weekend, I had to help her out!

Congrats Santiago on your baptism, and Maggie on having such a beautiful baby boy!

I'm official!!

I just registered my domain! I also am going to send out my first set of business cards to print! I've been saying for years I need to get going with this and now here I go! (Can you hear me shaking in my boots?)

Rainy Saturday

Miami=Rain - Inevitably! I set aside the day for relaxing and casual picture taking only to end up at doctor's appointment with D and a cloud/rainy day for the rest of the day. Perfect for couch cuddling and staying in PJ's all day - bad for pictures...
